About the event
Our event “WEvolve – Invest together, evolve together” was an effort to raise mental health awareness. The ceremony began with a melody by flutist and tabla musician Vinayak dada and Omkar dada to calm the audience's nerves. The organizing committee creatively introduced Dr. Pallavi Deshpande. She is known in India as the country's first female magician. She is a holistic nutritionist, hypnotherapist, and fitness instructor. She offered a quick overview of how to concentrate on mental stability through a pendulum exercise with a few individual participants.
The organizing committee organized a fun game called "Word" in which four audience members were requested to face away from the crowd. They were also told to come up with any random word. The audience was then invited to select a chit from this bowl. Each chit had a single phrase on it. The participants were asked to connect the two words by generating a meaningful sentence. We were ecstatic to have our speaker with us Sakshi Deshmukh, who shared her ideas on self-healing with us. She is a licensed NLP Master Practitioner, an REBT Coach and Practitioner, and a CBT Practitioner, as well as an ICF Certified Life Coach.
Then the event was followed by the game "Toss the Mic" to test the audience's mental abilities, in which a dilemma was presented and each person was invited to provide a solution from their own perspective. It was interesting to hear some unique answers. Following the game, a "Mask" exercise was planned, in which all audience members were instructed to write something true about themselves on a mask which they mask with something else each time.
Then was the last activity of the Wevolve Everyone was handed a card with four elements of nature (fire, water, earth, and air) on which they were to write an appreciation note to themselves without stating their names and make a mark on the element to which they belonged. The cards were then collected, shuffled, and handed in front of the audience so that the chosen element may express their thankfulness in their lives. Someone as insignificant as a stranger can inspire you to improve yourself that was the motive of the Writing activity. Thus, WEvolve – Invest together, evolve together received an invaluable response from Nashikites.
