Mission Mahad

On 22nd and 23rd July 2021, 18,751 families in Mahad and Poladpur talukas within the Raigad district got affected as a consequence of flooding and other rain-related incidents. Continuous rains,swollen rivers, and multiple landslides have left 70 dead in Raigad. The time was to lend a helping hand and the Rotaract Club of Nashik Youth Force in association with Mumbai Help launched a mission named “Mission Mahad” to take a part of the responsibility to help with essentials for the people of Raigad district’s Mahad tehsil.Rotaract Club of Nashik helped the affected families with various essentials like grocery kits, dry snacks, disinfectants, sanitary pads and some other items through fundraising to provide the crowdsourcing items. Volunteers of Mumbai Help went to Mahad to help the people stuck in the devastating floods. They reached out to around 500 people and provided them with all the possible required items.With the small helping hand provided by the Rotaract Club of Nashik Youth Force and Mumbai Help made the suffered people of Mahad hold on to fight the crisis. Lastly, we would like to thank you all for your consent support and helping us in raising the funds which made it possible for us to help the distressed people of Mahad.
